Humanitarian Logistics

On November 28, the Management club held a seminar within the framework of the Ala-Too Talks project. This time the United Nations World Food Program was the guest of Ala-Too International University.
 
The World Food Program is the world's largest humanitarian organization, providing about 4 million tons of food annually. The topic of the seminar was "Humanitarian Logistics." The speaker was Aizhamal Zhekshelaeva, Logistics Assistant program.
 
The seminar was very informative for third and fourth year students. Also, Elizabeth Zalkin, Head of Donor Relations and Reporting, presented the organization and their programs to the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. The seminar was attended by over 100 students, there was a good interest of students in the seminar and some students stayed after the seminar asking questions of interest.
